Venue Hire Only

Venue only bookings are accepted with the following provisions:-

 

1. Caterer

Full contact details of your caterer along with a copy of their public liability insurance and food hygiene certification must be provided prior to confirmation of booking.  Only bookings with reputable caterers will be accepted.  Caterers will be expected to use their own utensils and leave any equipment used, kitchen floor and surfaces as found.  Cleaning materials, mop, broom and rubbish bags will be provided.  A holding deposit of £500 will be taken for all bookings using our kitchens.  This will be returned to the hirer after the function provided the kitchen is returned hygienically in the same condition as hired.

 

2. Room Set Up

The room will be set out for your function with unclothed tables and chairs to a pre agreed table plan.  Any movement of furniture required for your booking following dinner for dancing space should be carried out by the hirer or staff employed by the hirer.  You must make arrangements to remove any catering equipment, chair covers and room decoration at the end of your function.  Failure to do this will result in an additional charge.

 

3. Safety and Security

The Hirer is to ensure that at all times fire and safety regulations are adhered to.  A member of Swanley Banqueting staff will stay on site throughout the hire to assist with any emergency situation that may arise.  The hirer is responsible for the security of the building.  The hire fee includes entrance door staff for the period of time guests are on site.

 

4. Payment

A deposit of £500.00 is required to confirm your booking.  The balance of payment along with holding deposit is required no later than 14 working days prior to your booking date.  Cancellation terms are detailed in the full Terms and Conditions on the reverse of your booking form.

 

5. Bar Facilities

Rooms have bar areas that can be cleared for your use if required.
